Gong Xi Fat Coi Cake

3 cakes given to fellow relatives.
Mommy made them all by herself.

And that is her while packaging them =)

Street Food Nearby

Nenk with jumbo Mie Berkat. That is her happy face.
I have been passing through this Creamello for several times, and never got the chance to stop by.
Today, I needed to stop by. Ngilerrr...
Well apparently, the ice cream tastes very good. The wafer is very crunchy. It reminds me of wall's ice cream sold in Orchard. The price also very similar, S$1 and IDR 8000.

Also check out the name card the owner gave me. Cute.

Big Smile

Still on the same day, I asked my family to have dinner at Hong Kong Cafe, and they unexpectedly agreed. Aaah.. Lucky day indeed. See how happy I was *grin*.

And the traffic was very very friendly.

Thanx God for everything =).

Mie DBB+Teh Botol+Pempek Vegetarian

I consider myself very very lucky, when I ask Hubby if he wants to accompany me to eat noodle at our old school and he says yes. And last Wednesday was my lucky day.
Nothing is really special about the noodle, but it sure brings back memories whenever i eat it.
My fave is mie gede with bumbu Indomie goreng. Nom nom.

Grey and Maroon

It was lovely to wake up in the morning and realizing that today is Saturday. I also found out that the fuel price raise has been canceled (or at least postponed for another 6 months). It was a relieve knowing that there will be no more riots for a while (forever no more I hope).

As for breakfast, I had Mie Alip. Yay!!!

For dinner, daddy took us to Ancol Beach City to meet his friend.
Ancol Beach City is like a new food mall at Ancol. Not so many restaurants has opened, so we have very limited options.
We have ever tried The Wharf and Rasane. So tonight we tried Oen Pao.
When the waitress came, she told us that it would take a while for our food to come. Around 30 minutes she said. We were fine with that.
So we ordered 1 chicken porridge, 4 charsiew chicken with hainanese rice, and charsiew chicken friend rice. After a while, another waitress came and told us that everything with charsiew was sold out.
So we changed our order to 1 fried rice, 2 grilled chicken with hainanese rice, 1 fried hokkien noodle, and 1 noodle with meatball.
After about 20 minutes, 2 grilled chicken with hainanese rice, porridge, and fried hokkien noodle came.
After at least another 20 minutes, the fried rice came.
We still waited for the last one to come but it was so long until the rest of us have finished our food.
The waitress told us to wait cause they were still cooking the noodle.
Disappointed, when the noodle came, we realize that it has been cooked for quite a while that the noodle was all like sticky together.
Overall, the food was just ok.
Well I don't think I will ever want to eat there again.

Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Lazy Saturday

Yes indeed.
The rain was pouring outside all day, and honey was busy with his new toy.
Say hello the the new addition in the bed room.
A 40" Tv. The old one is moved to another room.
I am not as much a gadget enthusiast as my honey. But I am happy for him.

After a day of lazying around, we finally had Yuraku for dinner.
It was not as good as it used to be. I think they need to put extra attention to the food quality, and especially, the service.
All in all, it was a good day ;)

Cheers,
Me

Dear Wagyu Beef,

why are you so expensive?
*Good for me I dont eat beef.

There Goes my Saturday

Made this flash disk and a family shio figurine as a gift for Lauren. She is the daughter of my office mate, who has resigned recently. I, Lauren, and her mom have the same shio, rabbit, so the age gap of each of us is 12 years =D.

I asked for colors, and Lauren said pink n purple. So I assume, those are her fave color. I also gave her the yellow n pink flashdisk pouch.

As for the figurine,  a horse dad, rabbit mommy, and rabbit Lauren. They are having picnic in the park with lotsa doughnuts and tea. It is spring so the foil and grass are covered with blooming flowers. Lovely!

And so after everything is done, I packed them and ready to deliver them to Lauren's house in Serpong. I made a quickstop at a fruit shop to buy fruits for Lauren's Mom. As Honey was busy picking the apples and oranges, I took my time strooling around the shop.

Catching up with  friends  is always a fun thing to do. After having a chit chat for and hour or so, we decided to have an early dinner at Serpong. The place was nice, we ate at a lesehan near the corner. After we almost finished, the rain fell down heavily. I loved it! For a moment I almost forget that I was stil in Serpong. The chill breeze, the smell of the rain, and the twilight made me think like I was in Puncak or Bandung =D.

Serpong traffic at Saturday night was such a disaster. The road has no line seperator, so it was a mess. But I need to fulfill my promise to my sister. So from Serpong, me and honey drove to Tangerang and visit Tia to buy a BB.

It was a tiring day, but I was happy =)

Romantic Proposal - Miu Craft

Voila!!
Olvina's older is finally finished.
Yay!
Had so much fun in makin this one. So many flowers!
Her fiance (now husband) proposed her in Japen, by the river of Meguro.
Yes I know, so sweet right!
She just registered her marriage in Bali last week, the reception is going to be held in Malang next week. She invites me to her wedding.
But too bad I can't come.
Well, Happy for you, Dear.

After almost a year, I finally could meet Mercy again. Just a quick late lunch cause I had to get back to office, and she had another appointment.

Pale Pink Noodle

I took another day off today and went to my old school to enjoy 'bakmi encik'.
I was wearing this vintage dress my sister bought me. I love it alot, though my mom said that I look like I had a baby bump.

I ate 2 bowls. Ha!
One is the original chicken noodle, and the other one is chicken noodle cooked with Indomie goreng seasoning. Nom nom!
Not to worry, I only ate half each, so it was only one portion in total =D.

In the car in our way home, suddenly we smell something really bad. My sister than started laughing and opened the window! She farted!
My mom then said, "Hey Nenk, dont poo in the car."
It was funny. We kept on laughing with each of our faces looking out the window.
Look at her 'innocent' face below.

Anyway, I felt like giving my room a new facelift. It now has branches and colorful birdies on the wall.
In the evening, I went to church to make a confession, my old English Course, Segarra, and karaoke to end the day.

Basil basil Basil

Drooling for anything basil so I decided to make them myself.
First, I made a basil pesto. It is very easy to make. I just need to mix all the ingredients together.

Here is how to make a Basil Pesto:

First, put the peanut in a chopper.

Add garlic and basil leaves

Put in blender / food processor to make them smooth and nice

Lastly, put the cheese and olive oil and mix again

Voila! My very own basil pesto.

My favorite: fetuccini pesto with tomato and mozarela

Basil Pesto Grilled Cheese Sandwich.

Ahhhh They are all so yumm
Im drooling all over again..
