Mie Ayam Bumbu Mie Goreng

Ive been craving for noodle lately. So yesterday i went to DBB, my school for 9 years, to eat. There are 2 noodles at DBB: 1 in SMA n 1 in SD.
I like the one in SD. Not that it tastes like heaven, but there are memories in every bite. I used to eat mie ayam with bumbu mie goreng. But i was not so lucky, when i went there yesterday, the noodle n fried dumpling have sold out. So i just bought INdomie Goreng :(.

Nothin has changed around there. Event the enci2 looked the same.

My Indomie Goreng with Chopped Chicken.

Vegetarian pempek. Yum.

Voila! All hv gone (to my stomach)!

This is the entrance of DBB. They use multi language now.

Fat Burger

Last Sunday i went to Fat Burger in Plaza Indonesia for lunch. It has been two weeks in a row.
My Dad used to work part time there as a waiter when he was in State. It was like 30 years ago. Good ol' time. He was so excited when he knew we now have it in Jakarta.

Fatburger was founded by Lovie Yancey in Los Angeles, California in 1952. And while it is a fast
food restaurant, the food is cooked and made
to order. You can pick what you want to put in ur burger, like add pickle, no mustard, add egg, no tomato and so on and so on.

Im not a burger lover cause i dont eat beef and pork and many other things. But i tried a bite n i think the beef was so good.
I read somewhre that Fat Burger use Angus Beef No wonder it was so juicy!!

There are 5 burger sizes: S, M, L, and XXL, and the difference is on how many patties in a burger. S: 1, M: 2, L: 3, and XXL: 4. The S combo (burger+drink+fries/onion ring) is around 55.000 IDR n XXL combo (the most expensive there) is 118.000 IDR.

Beside burger, they also have chicken wings, hotdog, fat fries, skinny fries, onion rings, vegetarian burger, the delicious milkshake, and many more. And they also hv meal package called Baby Fat. Yum yum.

Hot dog (around 18.000 IDR)

Chicken wings (around 18.000 IDR)

Their milkshake (around 25.000 IDR) is so good! Must try!

And there is also a cool juke box on the corner. And you can pick any song for free!

For extra information, here I quote a statement from ita facebook page;
"We use only 100% USDA lean beef.
Fresh, never frozen.
Our onion rings come from onions, not the freezer.
Our shakes are made with real hand-scooped ice cream.
Our fries and onion rings are cooked in 100% cholesterol-free oil."

So convincing right. So what are u waiting for? Just go go go!

No More Jemi!

I just found out that Joe Jonas n Demi Lovato have broke up!
So sad..

They were so cute..

This was what Demi tweeted:
“ There are so many crazy rumors flying around today. I’d like to clear a few things up. First, Joe and I did split but it wasn’t over the phone. Things didn’t work out but we’ll remain friends. Secondly, I am NOT dating anybody already. Nothing is more important to me than the relationship I have with my fans.. Just thought you guys should know this. ”

And this was what Joe tweeted:
“ Demi and I knew going into our romantic relationship that it may not be an easy one. I realize over the time we have shared together that I feel I care more about our friendship right now. It was my choice to breakup but I love her as a friend. She’s been there for me when I needed her. I will continue to be her friend and be there for her. ”

Rumour has it earlier today that Joe broke Demi through telephone. And to make it even worse, it was not him who talked to Demi but it was his dad, on his behalf. Well, is that true? I thoughy they r going to last! It makes me think that Joe is auch a coward. He broke up with Taylor Swift through telephone too, right?
Oh well..
I just wish they will tweet again later something like "Gotcha! We were just kidding"

Maybe best friend just cant be the best boyfriend/ girlfriend.

Ain

Me Mei Mei

(photo grabbed from www.upindanipin.com.my/)

Yay!
Who doesn't love them!
The story of these adorable twins and their gang is so fun to watch!
They are so funny, so real, and mostly, they got moral lessons for kids who watch them.
Upin n Ipin was first broadcast on September 14, 2007 in TV 9 Malaysia. It was meant to teach kids about Ramadhan. But the viewers loved it and they want more, so Les' Copaque who produced Upin Ipin decided to create more stories. Up till now, it is already the 3rd season and Upin n Ipin is not only broadcasted in Malaysia (TV 9) but also in Indonesia (TPI) and Turki (Hilal TV).
But you can also watch Upin n Ipin in Disney Channel, but the have dubbed to language to English.
I prefer the original version though. Much funnier!

These are the character in Upin n Ipin:
# 1 Upin dan Ipin

# 2 Family
* 2.1 Kak Ros
* 2.2 Opah
(They have lost their parent since they were babies.)

# 3 Friends
* 3.1 Cikgu Jasmin
* 3.2 Jarjit Singh
* 3.3 Mohammad Al Hafezzy (Fizi)
* 3.4 Ehsan bin Azaruddin
* 3.5 Mei Mei
* 3.6 Ismail bin Mail
* 3.7 Susanti
* 3.8 Dzul dan Ijat
* 3.9 Devi

# 4 Another Kampung Durian Resident
* 4.1 Kakek Dalang
* 4.2 Muthu
* 4.3 Rajoo
* 4.4 Salleh
* 4.5 Ah Tong
I watched yesterday's episode, it was when Upin n Ipin wanted to play with Mei Mei and Mail. But Kak Ross and Opah was so busy doing her chores, planting the vegetables, that Upin n Ipin have to help them first before they go. Upin n Ipin was so lazy and find so many ways to get themselves not to work. Oo thay are so adorable.

Of the many characters, I think I am Mei Mei.
Hihi.. I wish I can be more like Upin n Ipin who are very relax n funny, or like Opah who is very patient =).

One of Those Days

I got up late this morning n i decided not to go to Bunka n just finish making clay at home.
Just when i finished takin my shower, the light went off.
So i took my tools outside n build a small workshop in the back side of the house. I had to sat on a tiny weenie chair n put my tools on a short desk.

Last week i sent a frame to Jambi, n the receiver found a little scratch on the glass of the frame. Since the one who ordered was so lovely, then i offered her to send another frame.
Yesterday, i sent a figurine with acrylic box to south jakarta, n today, she told me that the acrylic was broken.

.......
I dont know what to say. But i know who to blame.
It must be because the courier service i used. The courier has been so sloopy in handling my stuff but i dont hv much option. I think most people use its services. But why doesnt it try to be better n improe the services?

It's 2PM n i hv already had fights with my 2 customers today via SmS. It is very tiring ;'(.

Kampoeng Tempo Doeloe

Every year, an annual event called Jakarta Fashion and Food Festival is held in Mall Kelapa Gading, La Piazza to be precise. It is the 7th JFFF this year and it is held on 12-23 May 2010.

But this year, Harris Hotel has established in MKG 5, so the food event is held mostly in La Piazza, and the fashion event is mostly held in Hotel Harris.

I went to MKG yesterday, accompanying my honey to find futsal shoes, totally forgot bout JFFF, and when I get to La Piazza, wht i saw is a total amsement. Hihi..
It was actually not much different than last year, but still, it is very exciting.

The ambience is set to be an oldies food market which sell many kind of traditional food. They event sell the food in traditional oldies stalls, n we have to pay using fake oldies money (there are booths for this). When you come at night, there are many lights to feast ur eyes. The view really captured my eyes. I love this kind of thing!

At one of the stall i saw yesterday, u can get the chance to play gasing, kelereng, or many other just by buying any Sosro product in that stall. Wow! How cute..

Too bad i didnt explore much yesterday. But i will surely visit it again before May 23rd, which is this Sunday.

For more info, just drop by to MKG, They have many huge poster regarding this event. I search on Google but i couldnt find the official website.

Bye Bye Tree

Pohon di depan kantor ditebang.
Kenapa?
Huh!
Saya selalu mempertanyakan hal yang sama setiap melihat pohon ditebang. Terutama pohon yang tinggi dan besar, krn saya rasa mereka sudah hidup cukup lama.

Kebanyakan, jawaban yang saya terima:
"biar rindang."
"uda ketinggian"
"lagi musim ujan, biar bisa nyerap air"
dllll

But why dont i feel satisfied with the answer?
Mungkin berlebihan, tp saya sedih saat melihat pohon besar ditebang. Seperti menyaksikan suatu pembunuhan. Pembunuhan terhadap alam. Pembunuhan terhadap keindahan.

Long live o tree
For u r the mother of nature
Long live o tree
For us all u live

Ain
